Hey, do you ever get snake vertebrae? I saw something cool here: [link] and was wondering if you had anything similar. I'd try and get 'em myself, but A) I'm terrified of snakes B) It's snowing here in Kansas, so no snakes around anyway, and C) The bones are little bitty and I'd lose 'em right outta the gate. You're probably wondering "why do you want something from an animal you're scared of ?" Valid question. Answer: You just can't argue with aesthetics... While I am scared to death of them, I'll be the first to admit that they are beautiful creatures. All sinew-y and lithe. Anywho, if ya got any, gimme a price check.
I have made something similar to that bracelet using tea-stained gaboon viper vertebrae. However, unless I get dead snakes from petstores, snake vertebrae is hard to come by. But I have about 25 verts left over from the viper. If you want all 25, I'd ask $20 plus shipping (like...$3) You can see pics of the same ones used in this: [link] and this [link]
You get 'em from pet stores? Go figure... I didn't know they were Gaboon viper. I thought they were from some rattlesnake roundup in Texas or something... Wait-they sell GABOON VIPERS at PETSTORES?!??! Well that's a scary thought... Tea stained huh? I may just do that to this whitetail metatarsal I made a flute out of... Will the color go away if I hit it with steel wool? How long would a string of 25 be? Sorry if I come off as a bit gabby and am hitting you with a barrage of comments, I just don't like sending multiple messages.
Nonono, the gaboon viper was from a zoo. Small gaboon. Figure each vert to be 1/4" long When tea stained, the colour will pretty much stay but dull a little bit with steel wool for that antique look.
I love Polar Bears. Getting one of their claws has been, like, some weird obsession of mine. Hmm, I'll really have to get a job soon, with all the cool things you have up for grabs. That'd be AMAZING to wear at school. Not sure if you still have that for sale, since Majiran called it first, but I'd probably buy it if not.
I can definately make a second (I made one for Buffaluffalo too) The claws are realistic cast replicas since Polar bear claws are almost freakin' illegal to get unless you find a fintage rug that's crappy and for parts. But yeah!!! Polar bears are neat!!!!
Cool beans - yeah, Polar Bears are rather..erm...illegal. I do know of a guy who lives in an old Inuit settlement in Alaska, where they sometimes do have to kill the Polar bears. Of course, this is because they're a danger to the town, and probably will harm someone.

Let me know if you can, or when you might have time.
