Tusken Raider and His Baby Banthaby *Zhon

Went to Starfest this weekend!!!

I, of course, went as a baby Bantha! And I even found a Tusken Raider at the convention as well as a themed wall with Han Solo encased in carbonite.

The convention was a big ball of fun! (hairy, sweaty, shoulder-torturing fun, but awesome nonetheless!)

If banthas are on a desert planet, with two suns, why do they have THAT much FUR!!!??

Anyway! I even took the Bantha up on stage for the costume contest, and won 1st place in the Media Sci-Fi section! Yay!
So this would be my second winner costume since the TaunTaun (which I hope to re-make)

The Tusken Raider pictured with me (along with the decorative wall with Han) was all a part of the setup the 501st Legion! They are a club of badasses!!!

Maybe all the hair is to help insulate against the MASSIVE change in temps that planet must have? Like, daytime would be mega-hot, but if both those suns were on the other side of the planet, it'd be DAMN cold.
