so.... my friend is holding this contest where you listen to music and draw yourself portrayed as a demon-thing.... here's what I came up with while listening to:

You'd think that's one emo/sleeping/dying beastie.... but I think he came out better than my thrashy beast.

I believe I'll colour it when I get new coloured pencils...I don't want to ruin it with markers yet.... so all I did was a parchment-paper-effect with what little photoshop powers I have....

I think you did an excellent job with the fur, most especially. It looks rather cool and D&Dish overall, but you really shaded especially well on the fur bits. And the horns, wings, & ears are well done. If anything looks strange, it would be the back legs, which I know are supposed to be folded under like a cat's, but it still looks very flat/squished. Still, I can just picture 'im/'er twitching an ear and reaching out lazily to swat at one of the falling feathers.

I did say "he" didn't I..... gotta fix that.... It is an It.... but IT does look pretty guy-ish... but mose of my beasties do. Also has a mane like a guy lion....verreh fuzzy!

and those hind legs I had a problem with... so I hid them behind rocks.... I used a lion for reference to the butt... it's how they lay down, it's not supposed to be "sitting" but more like flopped over.

Poor things losing it's heavenly plumes.... guess it swapped them for a more demonic nature...

I havn't drawn in forever.... or .... more or less havn't put one up because they aren't good enough for me to share with the world.

Pointellism (sp?) was a pain in the butt!!!! So many dots!!! So much time!

I like his wings and his horns, that is a very handsome creature.
