Flask of the Headhunter. The once proud, ferocious and unforgiving alpha baboon has now fallen into the clutches of an even bigger and sinister predator. A Predator that now quenches its thirst by using it's prey's skull as as a vial to hold life-giving liquids.
Yeah.... Felt like making one of those evil tribal something-or-others. Inspired to make it for my Huntress outfit for the Renaissance Faire. Perhaps it'll look good on my Minotaur too!
Replica Chacama Baboon skull that had been sealed to retain water. Glass neck and cork were off of a liquor bottle. Skull holds a good 8-10 fl.oz. I am currently working on and plan to finish a wolf and lion one.
sadly most of my bartering items don't transport. I am a liscensed massage therapist and I seem to be able to accomplish a lot like that I also model or trade art supplies etc.
but I might just save up for the flask in the name of building my art collection.
HA! When I saw this at first I thought 'wow, I wonder how he got his hands on a baboon's skull'. as I looked at it it dawned on me (looking at the nasal opening) that this wasn't a real skull (as mentioned in you're artist's comments bellow). Looking at it further I realized the wear on the teeth was familiar and that I have that exact same replica. Yay for coincidences.
ROFL! Awesome! You got yours from Research Mannikins as well? I do have a real baboon skull, however real bone is so porous that it'd take a lot to seal it to be waterproof.
is it odd when I say I want to fondle your skull. and explore them. Anatomy buff or at least trying to.
