I lack proper lens equipment for shooting this event.

However!
I was able to catch a really cool flare with this!

This is when the moon was in the absolute center of the sun, causing the really neat ring effect!

I'm confused... is your planet in a binary system?

As far as what most of the inhabitants of my planet believe, no. We just have a primary sun. However, there are some of the galactic-intellectual inhabitants that are debunking the theory, and introducing the "Nemesis" hypothesis that there is a very dim dwarf star that is in orbit along with our sun.
There is no observational evidence of such a dwarf star, however was hypothesized to explain extinctual events that had occurred in the extreme past years.
